One hundred, twenty-six apartments are funded through Section 8 subsidies and pay 30% of the residents certified income. Posted rents apply to all others and are below fair market rents for Haverhill area.

Studio = 320 sq. ft. 
One Bedroom = 480 sq. ft.

Heat and electricity are included. Those who run their own air conditioners are charged $36/year extra. 

Merrivista was rented up in 1969 and has a fifty year mortgage through HUD. 

Merrivista features a commercial kitchen and full dining room, beautician's shop, library, television room, wellness clinic, laundry room, two roof decks (one with a greenhouse), and fenced in areas for exercising pets and gardening. 

Bethany Care provides supportive services for 34 residents and BCS does likewise for about 20 more. 

Merrivista has a property manager, assistant property manager, superintendent, two assistants and a housekeeper. The nurse is present three days and resident services person four.
